Quinn Ewers, a quarterback for Texas, receives a $6 million NIL transfer offer.

Quinn Ewers and Texas are only concerned with winning Wednesday's Peach Bowl against Arizona State in order to go on to the semifinals of the College Football Playoffs.

In a first-round victory over Clemson, Ewers played some of his greatest games of the season, and he hopes to maintain that momentum in the upcoming round.

The transfer portal and preparing for the upcoming season are already priorities for other teams who aren't in the playoffs; occasionally, this even applies to players who aren't yet in the portal.

Pete Nakos of On3 Sports claims that Ewers has already received a $6 million offer to sign with the portal and leave Texas for the upcoming season.

Although this is obviously tampering, there has been no sign that anyone will take any action against it in college football anytime soon. Teams are already vying for Ewers' services, which is not surprising given that certain coaches and programs have hinted at this happening for a few years.

Ewers has struggled for Texas this season due to a combination of injuries and patchy play. Because of this, some Texas fans were demanding that Arch Manning be added to the starting lineup as the season was coming to a close, but Steve Sarkisian has chosen to stick with Ewers, and it paid off in the first round.

Quinn Ewers is having trouble following CFP. Quinn Ewers has at least one more game left in his Texas uniform, but after that, he must make a very tough choice. After this season concludes, Ewers has three options: go back to Texas, use the transfer portal, or declare for the NFL Draft.

Two of the options are problematic. Regardless of whether Ewers wanted to return or not, it would be reasonable if Sarkisian and the Longhorns decided to go with Arch Manning going into the upcoming season. Returning to Texas is not an option if that is the case.
