In a romantic private ceremony, two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra married his partner Himani. On Sunday, January 19, the javelin star posted pictures from the wedding to social media.
Neeraj stated, "Started a new chapter of life with my family," in his social media sharing.
"Thankful for all the blessings that have led us to this point in time. "Happily ever after, bound by love," he continued.
The first images from Neeraj's marriage caught his social media fans off guard because he had kept the specifics of his wedding secret. At the ceremony, Neeraj posted a sweet picture of his mother blessing him.
After Neeraj announced his marriage to the world, kind wishes began to stream in. Actor Gajraj Rao and former cricket player Suresh Raina were among the first to wish the former Olympic champion a happy wedding.
Raina said, "May your journey together be filled with beautiful memories and unwavering companionship," in a post on X.
Neeraj Chopra won a silver medal at the Paris Games, his second Olympic medal, months before to the wedding. Neeraj was the first Indian to win an individual gold medal in an Olympic track & field competition in 2021.
