Caitlin Clark will play for the Indiana Fever against the Connecticut Sun in 2025 at the storied NBA arena.

Many fans are talking about one game in particular after the WNBA schedule was released on Monday: Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will play in a venerable NBA arena.

In a rematch of the first round of the WNBA Playoffs last year, the Fever will play the Connecticut Sun on the road on July 15 at TD Garden, home of the Boston Celtics and the NHL's Boston Bruins. Indiana lost back-to-back games to Connecticut.

When Connecticut played the Los Angeles Sparks in front of 19,156 spectators last season, they became the first WNBA team to play in Boston.

The Sun usually perform at the nearby Mohegan Sun Arena in Montville, Connecticut, which can accommodate a maximum of 10,000 people. It's likely that more tickets will be sold for a game against Clark and the Fever.

Last season, they encountered issues when their home arena was double booked for a baby's birthday celebration and the Sun's practice. Alyssa Thomas, the star point guard, took offense.

Right now, it's typical. At the time, Thomas remarked, "Mohegan really needs to improve." We are a team of professionals. We're in the running for the playoffs.

Indeed, it is the height of disrespect to have to share your court with a two-year-old's birthday celebration. To compete at the greatest level, we require more and better.

Additionally, the game will be a reunion between Stephanie White, the new head coach of the Fever, and her former squad. In 2023 and 2024, White served as the Sun's coach.

She will have to build on Indiana's successful 2024 campaign this season. For the first time since 2016, the team made it to the playoffs after going 20–20.

With 66 of 67 first-place votes, Caitlin Clark won WNBA Rookie of the Year and made the most three-pointers in a single season in league history.
